SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

Humans are starting to awaken spiritually and are realizing that there is so much more than just the physical. Many are also seeing that the world's great religions may be somewhat limiting in their ability to help us evolve spiritually. Many are starting to connect with Spirit directly in different ways and on different levels. It is certainly a challenging though exciting time to be alive here on earth.

On May 7, 2013, Maclean’s Magazine, a Canadian news and human interest publication, published an excellent article written by Brian Bethune entitled, “Why so many people – including scientists – suddenly believe in an afterlife.” In the article, Bethune’s final observation is that…

“We seem to be moving inexorably from a society where organized religion dominates issues of morality—and mortality—but not to the secular promised land of reason. Rather, we are orienting ourselves to a more personal spirituality, at once vague and autonomous.”

 

SPIRITUAL KNOWING

It is important to remember that, as Bob Dylan sings, “The times they are a change'n.” We are entering an age of spiritual emergence where Spirit is helping us to collectively move forward, even while our Earth is in physical peril.

In the end, we don’t all need to be scientists when considering why we are here and the nature of the afterlife. We just need to be adventurers and experiencers. We each determine our own threshold for afterlife proof and once we have reached it, our spiritual beliefs become a “knowing.”
