From Rebecca Campbell...

A LIGHTWORKER is anyone who devotes their life to being a bright light in the world. They understand that their actions (no matter how big or small) have the potential to raise the vibration of the planet. A lightworker soul is awake, conscious that their presence matters and that they are part of something that is bigger than them. Lightworkers feel compelled to write, teach or counsel others about their spiritual experiences.

Lightworkers turn their light on by following what lights them up and then effortlessly sharing that light with the world around them. They are in tune with the callings of their soul and act on its whispers regardless of fear. They do not need to convince anyone of anything, rather just be the light.

Lightworkers make a conscious decision to answer the call of Source (light) over the call of the ego (fear).

Rebecca Campbell explains the difference between Newly Awakened Lightworkers (NALs) and Retro Lightworkers (RLs). NALs tend to have a significant awakening experience spurred on by a life event. They can make big life changes in response to answering the newly awakened call within them. RLs know that they are incarnated here for a reason – to serve. However, they may have a fear of "coming out of the spiritual closet."

We (both humans and Spirit) can always use more lightworkers to help bring us out of our largely unconscious state and to make us more aware spiritually. To help us raise our individual and collective vibrations and save our Mother Earth.

Do you consider yourself to be a lightworker? NAL or RL? Do you actively practice "working your light"?

Here's a suitable LIGHTWORKER'S CREED (from Ashley at The Awakened State) ...

“I AM a Lightworker.
I awoke so that others may awaken.
I learn so that others may also learn.
I transform so that others may transform.
I lighten my load so that others may change theirs.
I learn to see so that others may also see.
I forgave myself so that I may help others to forgive.
I love myself so that I can bring out love in others.
I AM a Lightworker.
I live to give comfort.
I live to shine loving light onto others.
I live to heal.
I live to give hope.
I live for truth.
I live to love."
